365 in the Word

Each year at Capital CIty, we begin the year with intention. This year, we are setting the intention to be a community who spends time every single day with God in his Word.

Beginning January 1, 2026, we’re launching an initiative called 365 in the Word and we’d love for everyone in our church family to join in!

We will be using The Daily Bible by Harvest House Publishers as our guide. This is a chronological Bible with commentary by F Legard Smith. The readings are broken down for you by date. Each day’s reading is estimated to take approximately fifteen minutes. We’ll also be engaging as a community with the weekly content in some exciting ways throughout the church year. This is an incredible way to deepen your relationship with God, grow in your understanding of the Bible, and partner with us to become a church who spends time each day with God in his word,

Bible can be picked up in the Welcome Center each weekend through the month of December.
